Should community college education be tuition free and if so how would it affect the country and people financially, will there be a catch to it or have some kind of regulations and rules that people have to follow to receive free tuition? In an article of the US News, by Allie Bidwell. She wrote about that how college students will need to have and maintain a certain GPA to be able to receive free tuition. I think that’s a good idea, because that rewards the students who are showing that they’re willing to put in the effort and time to do well in college. Even president Obama says that, "Put simply, what I'd like to do is to see the first two years of community college free for everybody who's willing to work for it." In the article of the white house by David Hudson, he wrote that the proposed plan of President Barack Obama of having the tuition free for community colleges for people who are willing to work for it, would save full time community college students $3,800 in tuition per year on average. Also, it would benefit roughly 9 million students each year. That’s a big deal for how many people it can benefit financially. I know the proposed plan may not cover every single expense but it would still greatly help financially for many
