Many students are flustered and worry about how they are going to pay for tuition, books, meal plan, etc. With college being so expensive with tuition alone (more than three thousand a semester), how are students expected to pay for all of these other requirements, concentrate on academics, and support themselves? It is extremely hard and nearly impossible to do so, especially since everybody’s financial situation is not the same. By the government not funding free community college it is “discouraging young people who do not have a traditional academic family background” or financial stability “from taking up study.”(Stapelfeldt). This could be prevented by providing the ability for community college to be available for all no matter the financial situation, which would take majority of the burden off of students and it will lead to them making better
