What makes a college team great? Academics, focus on the field, and aggression is what brings a team a championship. College football is the best sport to watch because it is entertaining! It’s the best sport to watch because the players have the heart and desire to come out on top, and get to the next level, the National Football League(NFL). Without heart they’re nothing but eleven additional players on the field. . Without the desire to succeed, there is no competition. No matter what the situation is, your job, sports, academics, everything in life, you have to have the desire to win. The best college football teams seem to also have a high academic standard. Every Coach has their own set of standards and expectations on how their athletes should perform academically. Stanford University is known not only for their great football team, but also for their academic standards. The team executes in both subjects, and brings the win home. Players are expected to put the same amount of work into school as they do on the field. First and second string players are crucial to the team. Players must think about a play before the ball is snapped. A team that shows focus is the University of Michigan(UofM). Michigan displays their focus by executing when the time is right! Another team that shows focus is the University of Alabama. Alabama continually displays the best in every aspect of the game, which takes an abundance of focus and strenuous work! Every aspect of the Alabama football program is aggressive and they are the best in the league. Coaches expect players to focus on the game and their position only.
