Which there not.Why do they have to separate different genders? Boys and girls should be allowed to play coed sports. Coed means have both genders on the same teams. They don't offer coed that much for sports. For little kids they do offer coed teams, but not many people choose it. My sister signed up for a coed soccer team when she was little, and she was the only girl on the team. But as you get older they don't offer coed. It shouldn't matter what your gender is. In the article Positive reasons for coed sports, it says that smaller communities have learned that,by having coed sports teams there is a smaller cost to pay. Lots of people like to play sports, but they can get kinda expensive. To play on a coed softball team it costs about $275,but to play on a all girls softball team it's about $375,and on a all boys team it's about $395 according to the MLS article and the MCRC . As you can see it costs way less money to play on a coed sports team. Also coed teams save people time (positive reasons for coed sports) They have less staff/coaches. Sometimes they are running low on staff/coaches then you get people that don't want to coach or be a staff person and then the staff/coach isn't happy. A couple years ago they couldn't find enough coaches for my softball league. So then they had to get adults that did not want to be there do it. My coach wasn't very happy,he never wanted to come to practice or to our games. Honestly he just really didn't care, all he wanted was to get it over and to go home. So since he wasn't that good of a coach we lost a lot of our games. In addition to how coed sports saves money and time (positive reasons for coed sports)there won't be a big problem on scheduling games and scheduling practices and what field you're playing …show more content…
So they have to cooperate with each other. If they are working together during practice and games then they will learn to always work well together. Which you will always need to to help you out in the world. In addition to that both genders will learn from each other (positive reasons for coed sports) Girls can learn new things from the guys, and guys can learn new things from the girls. So it makes the team work better together and they will have new skills. It's good to learn new things, because everyone wants to make themselves better. Playing coed is a great way to help with that then.Lastly, people will have confidence in themselves (positive reasons for coed sports) They will try to show off, which makes other people work harder to get as good as that person, or to get better. People will test their own strength and push themselves to do things they could never

First of all, male sports are aggressive and safety would be hard to avoid. They would have a high risk of injury, concussion rates in the last year have rose over 20%.There are many different kinds of injuries you can suffer while playing a male sport like you can overheat and pass out, you can tear your ACL or MCL or you could even overuse your body and strain it.
