Requirements: From childhood I had the great talent and ability for problem solving and a great sense of justice. In high school, some electives I took were youth and law and forensic which were class’s I considered essential for the career path that I wanted to pursue. After high school my college of choice was Arizona State University to get my bachelors in criminal justice degree. To apply for an FBI agent I found that candidates must be at least 23 years old, but younger than 37 at the time of appointment. Veterans, however, may be granted an age waiver if they are older than 37. Which I hadn't ever been in the military. Candidates must also be a united states citizen, and I was born in Arlington heights in 1999 in Illinois so I didn't need to worry about that. Candidates must have a valid United States driver's license. If all the requirements were met which i did i had to take a lengthy application test. Some of the examples are depending on which specialty you choose but more have a general consensus of benefits. One major benefit is that you interact with alot of people. The FBI agency has had a lot of people apply every year. As a result you meet various people from different parts of the country. Another major benefit is the fact that the fbi has various offices and posts all around the world. Which means at any given month or even day you could be subjected to move from one side of the country to another. Another is that fact that sometimes you get to work very exciting cases. Overall the benefits of working as an FBI agent overwhelmed
