I am interested in cosmetology school because creating art with hair and makeup is something I have always dreamed of doing. When I was twelve I loved to play with hair and create fun new looks with my sister’s hair and that was when I truly fell in love with cosmetology. Cosmetology is not only about hair and basic makeup you can branch off of this field. There are other programs that branch off of cosmetology. They do not require as many hours as the cosmetology course does. Although they give you more specific detail into thing like nails and programs into surgical makeup such a permanent makeup. I feel that I will be able to make the client extremely comfortable and help them enjoy their stay while they get their hair done. I also believe that I am capable of learning all the information from cosmetology school and apply it to my future. Having all the steps to becoming a cosmetologist be in such a shortness of time people may get very overwhelmed, but I believe that I can succeed in this career field. Many people may doubt my ability to commit to this form of work, but I know that this is something I see myself exceling in the future.
