Why You Should Obtain A Degree

In my country (Iran) students are encouraged to apply, enroll, and, if accepted, complete their schooling, but with a caveat. They will not be given their degree, until they work for a certain amount of time in the field that they studied. So, those who want their degree, should choose the basics so that they can get the job that will earn them the chosen degree they studied for. Far too much emphasis is placed in getting just any degree. A degree in the basics such as a business, medical, or computer science can be more valuable, in every country other than the United States frivolous degrees such as those in the liberal arts require more work. Money is going into education, but sometimes those programs emphasize unique and exotic degrees. Should one choose a specialty degree such as Islamic Studies to get a job faster, or should we stick to the basics? The College/ Universities increased their loan program than increase their financial aids (peal grants) program. In order to students pay their tuition, they try to focus on courses that related to America’s economy and they have more chance to find the job in their area of study to pay their loan.
