Singing the song word for word. But the next thing I know, I am waking up to a room that I am unfamiliar with. Wondering how I got here, in Longview, Texas, 3 days later. At Good Shepherd Hospital. First thing I do is try to get this neck brace off of me. I ask my mom, “where am I?” She replied back. “Your in the hospital, baby.” My mind jumps with questions that need to be answered. Last thing I remember is driving on Highway 49, going to Daingerfield. The Doctor walks in. “Do you know why you’re here?” Responding back, “no sir I have no idea.” He said, “you were in car wreck on your way to work. You fell asleep driving at the wheel. You broke your T4-T9 (Back), left clavicle, and you have a hematoma on the left side from the waist down.” My heart dropped. Crying my eyes out, my mom comes to hug me. And cries with me. At night, all I ever did was weep. My mom and Adaiah felt helpless sitting in a chair, listening to me sob for 5 hours straight every night. Sometimes they would cry with me. The hospital didn 't have any medicine that would help the pain, except for Hydrocodone. I would ask for some, at least once an hour. It didn 't really last
