The Beach-Personal Narrative

One bright morning, I woke up and decided to go down to the beach. It was 10:30 a.m. and there was a green flag waving in the air. I knew right then and there that it would be a good day to surf. The waves were going to be just right with the wind blowing and everything. I put my swimsuit on really quick. I rushed down to the beach before it got busy. When I got in the ocean, it was a little cold, then I got use to it. As I was wading in the water, my family came down also. While we were swimming in the ocean, we saw something long and dark. Just then, we heard my mom yell that there was a shark swimming towards the shore. We tried telling everyone around us that they needed to watch out. They ended up telling us that we could play with them. As we are playing volleyball, we noticed that it was past twenty minutes. Alexis and I apologized for having to leave so quick. They understood why we had to leave, and said they had fun playing with us. It was almost like they were our best friends, they treated us so nicely. After getting to the room, we started munching down on our crab legs. I missed the crab legs so much. My mouth was salivating so bad that when I was actually eating them I was slobbering everywhere. Alexis and I finished at the same time, and we both wanted to go swimming in the ocean. The sand was burning so we could barely walk on it. When we got to the ocean, we sat my aqua towel down and Alexis’s purple towel down on these dark, extended, tan chairs that were shimmering in the sun. While we were swimming in the ocean, my parents said they were going to pack our luggage up. While we were swimming in the ocean, a wave knocked me down. When the wave knocked me down, the salt water came splashing into my eyes. They were in pain, it was burning my eyes and they started to turn red. I was done swimming in the ocean.
