The Battle Of Greenland In James Dashner's The Eye Of Minds

If James Dashner’s book “The Eye of Minds” was made into a movie, it would be a lot like the series The Maze Runner, a recent high action adventure movie. If I was going to create this movie, I would include the Battle of Greenland, the first fight scene between the main character (Michael) and the main villain, Kaine, “The Path”, the route to the main villain’s hideout, and the end fight scene.
I think the Battle of Greenland should be in the movie because of all of the action and adventure in that scene. The Battle of Greenland is a video game that simulates a destructive battle that took place 20 years before. They have to fight their way through countless waves of soldiers to get to a portal that takes them to “The Path”. If they want

Many books have been made into movies, and people tend to notice that the movies do not highlight certain details that the books do. In A Separate Peace, there were many differences between the book in the movie, like Gene’s visit to Devon, the character relationships, and the different perspective of the movie. Gene’s visit to Devon 15 years later is the first scene of the book. The movie started at the start of his summer session. Missing this scene of the book made it lose the feeling that Gene forgave himself for Finny’s death.…

The Battle of the Argonne Forest took place north of the town Verdun and began when the United States Army, backed up by the French, launched an assault on the German Army. This assault was led by General John Pershing and General Henri Gouraud and was part of an attack called the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, a very complex operation. The main goal of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive was to get a hold of the railroad hub at Sedan to break the rail net supporting the Germans in France and Flanders and induce the enemy’s withdraw from said territories. On September 25, 1918, ten American divisions of 26,000 men, organized in three corps, were ready to begin.…

Jingyi Long First Impression of Just Before the War with the Eskimos J.D. Salinger’s Just Before the War with the Eskimos was in my opinion, very different from any of the other short stories I’ve read before. The story started off with a dilemma for the main character, Ginnie, because she wanted to ask her friend Selena to pay half of the fare for the cab that they shared, and to pay her back for all the times that she had to pay the whole fare by herself. Selena agrees to pay her back albeit reluctantly because she thinks that it’s a petty matter. Ginnie then follows Selena back to her home where Selena has to ask her sick mother for extra money, which Selena stresses to Ginnie.…

Neil Gaiman’s novel The Golden Compass was brought to life in a film. While the film is a great representation of the novel, there were distinct differences between the two; such as the means surrounding the alethiometer, and the ending. The movie was an adaptation of the novel, so obviously there would be differences. But some of the changes made were not for the best intention of the story.…

I chose the film Gettysburg because it provides a great overview of the battle of Gettysburg. Gettysburg is a 1993 American war film. The film tells the story of the battle between the Union and confederate armies during the Civil War. The movie made sure to capture each day of the battle, which lasted three days. I was kind of confused at first because the film had no clear protagonist and antagonist.…
