The Basic Reading Inventory

I finished administering the silent section of the Basic Reading Inventory, BRI. The focus learner did not reach a level of frustration and read up to twelfth grade level at instructional/frustration. I figured out silent reading and graded word lists are her strengths.
I have six site visits left!

One student in the Multi Needs/FBI Intensive classroom, Aliya, has been refusing to do work and often complains to go home and will act upset during classroom instruction. What can the teacher aids and her lead teacher, Mrs. Countryman, do to help Aliya express her emotions appropriately and increase completing academic assignments and activities?
