I believe that the banning of books is wrong. Yes, the book may have a controversial or offensive content, but the books can have good themes. Some about growing up and about the troubles we have to go through while growing up. Books can also teach us about past events, like wars, they can also teach us how people were treated back then. Like stated before, certain books can teach us what growing up is like. For example, “Junie B. Jones” taught me what it MIGHT be like in kindergarten and first grade. Those books entertained me growing up as well. Junie B. Jones might talk back and be rebellious, but why would you take life lessons and entertainment away from children? Some books were banned for really terrible reasons. “The Wizard of Oz”
