In the 2016 Washingtonpost article The Baffling Reason Many Millennials Don’t Eat Cereal, the author Roberto A. Ferdman used past surveys conducted in regard to millennials to convey that millennials covet convenience over all else. Even such simple things such as a bowl of cereal are no longer convenient to many millennials today. According to a 2015 survey conducted by Mintel, 40 percent of millennials had stated that “cereal was an inconvenient breakfast choice because they had to clean up after eating it”.
