William the youngest of three likes to be called Will who has been diagnosed autism. William is nine years of age and is struggling and having at rough time in school. Born into in a family with a father, mother and two other siblings. One parent has been diagnosed with autism which is the mother. Who has had it since birth and in the back of her mind fears William has it too.
None of Williams other siblings have it. She notice that William started showing signs around 2 years of age. Her family and friends saw them also, but she passed it of as him being shy, the youngest, and in his own world. Nothing was wrong with her son because he was loveable, unique, cute, but all along hoping not him. William’s mom wanted a different outcome when it came to him. It was a long journey for William’s mother and since science is more advance now, then back then.
Williams’s mother has held on to some gleam of hope that it would skip her son. Now her deepest concerns have come to past. It wasn’t easy to hear that William has autism.
