"Family is not an important thing, it's everything". Daniel Gordan's, The Australian Dream produced in 2019 is a documentary written about Australia, told from the indigenous perspective, using the story of Adam Goods to portray the idea of racism towards the indigenous people of Australia. The documentary outlines the value of family and the culture that comes with it, to be like no other. Family is conveyed to be the most important aspect of one's culture, shown throughout the documentary as Adam Goodes discovers his own.
