For instance, Japan was still trying to expand into the other land but the allied powers would stop them. Then Japan would take over a base or make one of their enemies surrender. Nothing too big went on in the war that made a huge impact except one event. The event is when the US dropped bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was the final step to ending the war for the US. We dropped atomic bombs on both these cities. Both cities housed troops and also were major industrial cities. This could not only eliminate troops, stop the war, get revenge on Japan and it lastly can affect the economy of industries are destroyed. The plan was perfect only but one thing. Since there was waves of bombs the land went to nuclear waste. It was reamed with radiation and this was not good for the citizens that lived near. There are various stories of people being disintegrated by the heat of the bomb and also people dying because of the mass destruction. This was the only major downfall for these bombs. We didn’t anticipate that it would take out and kill as many people as the bomb did. This attack was not out of the blue either. They came at us first and dragged the US into the war. Admiral William D. Leahy puts it well when he said,"It is my opinion that the use of this barbarous weapon at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan.
