The Attack On Paris

The idea of a tragedy is all too common to most people. Although the dictionary definition of this word never changes, it still takes a different form for different people. For instance, one person may find the loss of her favorite necklace to be a heart wrenching tragedy while another might have the same feeling for messing up his favorite cookie recipe. Either way, no matter what event a person classifies as a tragedy, everyone will go through a form of it at one point or another. Depending on how severe this event may be, it can leave a person feeling lost, hopeless, or in a pit of despair. Most recently, hundreds of people in Paris from mothers,to husbands, to children alike are all going through one of the hardest tragedies of all, death.
This incident was a violent terrorist attack that killed many people and wounded several others, leaving families in pain and sadness, mourning the death of their loved ones. Of all the people who have lost someone near and dear, it is particularly hard for the younger children. The attack on Paris is a touchy subject for many people. For those who weren't directly affected by this tragedy, most feel that they must tiptoe around this event to avoid putting the people through any more pain than they have already gone through. Contrary to that feeling of obligation, the article states the truth, nothing more nothing less. The first sentence said the day after the terrorist attack in Paris was one my children won't soon forget. That statement is as true as I am alive. The author doesn't cut the corners making this attack seem any less horrible than it really is.
