The “magic-bullet” theory supports the “lone-assassin” theory which states that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. In order for the “magic-bullet” theory to be feasible it would have to mean that the shot fired by Oswald had to of originated from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository (Rockwood). Though numerous experiments have been done in an attempt to recreate this scenario, the trajectory of the supposed “magic-bullet” was never able to be recreated thus debunking the theory. As a result of the shielding of evidence surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy from the general public suspicions of conspiracy arose. Conspiracy theories display the lack of communication between the government and the governed. Societies are dependent on a well-informed populace, or a population that has knowledge of the events surrounding them. This is because if the majority of the population is not educated on a certain matter false interpretations of information received by the government can be spread resulting in mass chaos as well as the development of various conspiracy
