On Wednesday, February 15th, President Franklin D. Roosevelt was the attempted victim of a shooting in Miami, Florida. While giving a speech in front of a small crowd in Miami, Florida an assassination attempt on FDR was made. According to the police report, sources close to the president said that the president was not affected by the attempt but that he would be kept out of the public eye until things calmed down.
