The assassination of a former Black Panther, Mark Clark, marked an important event in history. His assassination was of course not justified at all. He was killed in a police raid by the Chicago police department in his own home. When he was killed he was not committing any sort of crime; he was sleeping when the police barged in his apartment ,where former black panthers were also sleeping, and killed him and another black panther. Mark Clark died on December 4th, 1969 in a random police raid conducted by the chicago police department at midnight. According to the police report, the black panthers opened fire first, but it was later discovered that out of the about 90 shots that were fired, only one was from a black panther's
