The article “Gmo Literacy Project” compiled by a group of students at Penn State is a great article for providing information on GMOS and educating the general public on this new science experiment. Is a great article that goes into detail on the effects of the GMOS after consumption. Previously there was little known about GMOS, because this was something that was slipped in under the radar. Foods are not labeled, and the public has never been outright informed. It was not until other countries outlawed the possibly dangerous foods that we here in the US followed suit, and became curious about investigating what we were eating. There was a controlled experiment set in order, mice of various ages were divided and one group fed GMO products, and the other was fed organic. The experiment proved that the mice that ate the GMOs were more likely to develop many health issues, and the mortality rate of the young was higher as well. However the detailed results of the mice that were fed organic food were not provided. With this somewhat bias information provided it can only be inferred that the organic fed mice were left in a better state then the GMO fed mice after the
