In today’s society people are broken down into social classes high, middle, and low class. When looking closely at each class you can see how power is distributed. Overall the high class possess the most power, they have a high roll in society with more money and possessions. They hold top positions that influence the lower classes, for example the president, doctors, and business owners. The middle class does have a big part as well, because most people are correlated to this class. They hold a different kind of power; they have the power of keeping this country running. They work everyday, doing services that we all need done. The lower class has minimal to know power in most situations. But all of these classes have the power to change for the better (Fiske, 2007).
