Everyone wants to believe their loved ones are going to be there in their hearts or watching over them. For some people, they wish they were still there. Now there are some people who truly believe they are still with them on earth, roaming around. The theory of ghosts, which is different for every country, religion, and individual out there, is no theory at all. Ghosts are real.
My beliefs on ghosts are based on my own experiences and research. My first encounter with a ghost was a few days after my grandfather passed away. I was in my room and I saw him faintly in the corner. Now that may not sound convincing enough but my next encounter may freak you out. Now my beliefs are partly based on my experiences while the other part of them are research. I think I’ve made it obvious I believe ghosts are real. There are tons of other people who also believe in them and they have had their own experiences. Although science does not prove their existence to be real, there is too much evidence not to make you question the ideas of ghost truly existing.
There are many religions that believe in the idea of ghost and even mentions ghosts in the significant books of their religion. In the bible, the word ghost is mentioned one hundred and eight times. It may not mention it as an disembodied spirit, it is used as describing the dead in some way. In Indian culture the Mahabharata mentions Aswathama, a god in Indian religion. Many people have claimed that they have seen him as alive or even as a ghost. In Indian culture there is also the belief that reincarnation is part of the afterlife. The belief is said to be when one person dies, depending on how their character was while in that life, they would become a spirit and travel into other living things for a new life. Some even believe that a spirit will get lost on the way to their new life and become a ghost wandering around. There is even the belief that those ghosts become demons and posses people so they can feel alive

Having a paranormal experience can be bloodcurdling, but it can also be a phenomenal experience to look back on. When I was about thirteen years old, I had my first experience with a Ouija board. A Ouija board is used to communicate with people that are no longer among the living. I was with my uncle Elvis, who is my mother’s brother. My uncle took me to his friend’s apartment, and at that moment he pulled out what appeared to be a very ancient Ouija board.…

The false ghosts stories and superstitions are what cause others to question the validity. “Belief in the supernatural is closely akin to belief in religion. Both involve an intensely personal relationship with a preternatural being or design (Henson viii).” It is through careful reading, research, and instinct that one has to weed out the false from the true, but even then it may be difficult to discern.…

Reincarnation plays a huge part in the belief systems of each religion. Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism all believe in rebirth after death, and place responsibility on the individual in order to achieve liberation from this endless cycle. Contrastively, the main objective of Hinduism is to suppress desire and therefore be liberated from reincarnation.…
