Introduction: The apostle Paul was very sincere when he wrote his letters in the New Testament. One of his better known letters was to the Romans. We are going to look at what a world view looks like according to Romans chapters 1-8. Everyone has a worldview of some kind, whether they know it consciously or not. As a Christian, it is incredibly important to have a strong Biblical foundation so we can have a Christ like world view.
The natural world: The world we live in was created by the only all-powerful God. As Geneses 1:1 states “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. God created the perfect world, one where humans were able to walk in the Garden of Eden with God, and speak to him on a personal level. Along the line, it became a fallen world as Romans 3:10 says, “as it is written: there is no one righteous, not even one.” We are all unrighteous and have evil desires, however we overcome those desires by faith in Jesus Christ. God has made Himself known through His Word, and through His creations. We are able to come to Christ through His Word, and by faith in Jesus Christ, even in our fallen state that we live in. God’s will is for none to perish as 2 Peter 3:9 states, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
