Bullies have turned to the internet/social media to harm their targets. Fortunately, parents, teachers, students, and anti-bullying organizations work together to establish a positive response for the bullied. Parents participate in bullying prevention by supporting anti-bullying efforts in schools and working with the schools to promote community wide awareness of bullying and how to stop and prevent it from happening. Teachers are trained to know what to do if they spot a student being bullied and how to discipline those involved because schools are the main place where bullying occurs. They all work together to establish a supportive and safe school atmosphere where students are accepted and cared for. Students participate in anti-bullying efforts by raising awareness of bullying to their classmates and showing them how they can prevent and stop it from happening. Anti-bullying organizations have developed certain programs that contain anti-bullying guidelines for use in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. The goal of these programs is to help create a safe, bully free school environment through improvement of student interaction. For example, “No Bully” is a non-profit organization that trains schools how to show students that bullying is not acceptable. This movement works because of ideology; the participants have a coherent system of beliefs, values, and ideas. The anti-bullying movement is not designed for overnight change. For years, bullying has been an everyday thing. Therefore, it may take years to undo the damage that has already been made. However, this movement can create change by eating away at the main cause of bullying, making it become less of a problem. This movement is a major key in our schools to create a more secure school atmosphere. To date, all 50 states in the United States have anti-bullying laws to fight against bullying in schools thanks to the anti-bullying
