How the movie The Anthropologist applies to what we learned about the new and old ways that we've have approached and done ethnographies in old methods and new methods can be seen throughout the movie in the ways that the main anthropologist functioned in all the places that she traveled. It was interesting to see how they were able to fit two different stories together and interconnect them as the editor seemed fit. The only thing I had a problem with was some of the dramatic effects the music was being used on when it came to the priest that was withholding information from the citizens about the issues surrounding climate change. It seemed like they was anticipating him being a little wild with how the music shift came that could have really incriminated the whole region with their political powers. I also appreciate how in a big majority of the shots they stayed within the golden lines of doing videos and photography and the background and settings were not distracting from what someone was
