I haven’t been at a restaurant with live music before so this was actually a first for me. Although I’m not sure how I would feel about going to concert of this genre just to listen to music. I think it was the combination of the food, the music and overall laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant made the experience pleasant. This is definitely not my preferred genre and I think without food or company the experience would’ve been a bit boring. Other than for education purposes, or just to have some background music for my dinner I wouldn’t seek out this kind of music. I cant say I had any favourite song or song that I disliked in particular, but I enjoyed that fact that even thought it’s not a style I usually listen to, I still recognised quite a few of the songs. “Route 66”, “Hallelujah I love her so”, “Anything goes” by Cole Porter and “The girl from Ipanema” (which was a supposing contrast from the black american music they played) are all song that I have heard or played in the past. I also heard a lot song I hadn’t heard before, for example: “My foolish heart” by Nat King Cole, “I got a woman” by Ray Charles, and “There’s a man going round taking names” by Lead
