The American revolution and Haitian Revolution all achieve their initial political goals with verging of success. Rebellion was the key point of success and both revolutions. Despite the social cost of the Haitian Revolution they were able to propel the ideas of democracy and the idea of the quality far beyond boundaries established by the American revolution. Both of these revolutions are known as the greatest revolution in the western hemisphere.

The Haitian Revolution is said to be known as the greatest revolution behind the American revolution in the western hemisphere. The Haitian Revolution is The most important slave rebellion. The slaves began rebelled in 1791 and by 1803 they had successfully ended slavery, also they ended French control over the colony. Prior to the Haitian independence Haiti was a French colony known as St. Domingue. St. Domingue fast growing and successful slave based sugar and coffee industry became the most profitable colony in the Americas. With The profitable boom came an increase of African slaves who made up the majority of the population. Prior to the US revolution many American merchants lived on St. Domingue. The impact of the French Revolution is said the be the start of the Haitian Revolution.
