What does American dream meant to you? In my opinion, the American dream doesn’t exist anymore; it’s dead. Look back in the history, Americans fought for their freedom through the war of independence. Americans wanted equality, fairness, wealth, and ,of course, freedom on this new land. However, in today’s society, the American dream was failed. It’s failed because of the economic inequality, high unemployment, heavy student loans, and etc.

Opportunity doesn't knocks on the door of every American, so the rich can still live in the Dream, while the poor can just Dream. Still, can we make changes to reinstated the American Dream possible for everyone? The answer is yes, but it take time and effort. For example, we need to forget about dream jobs and think about dream lives. We must begin to address the issues that causes the American Dream failed. For many years, the advice was to go to the best college you could get into. It should changed to go to the school that suits you the best. It may not be college. It may be a community college. It may be skilled training. Nonetheless, the most important thing is to work hard. However, without a federal movement to convene the change, change will never
