What is one dream that you want to fulfill in your lifetime? People always dreams a dream that is bigger than them. Most people dreams to have what they value, but to live with a person you admired is the most fulfill dream in the world according to Gatsby. In the book of “The Great Gatsby”, written by F.Scott Fitzgerald reveal that Jay Gatsby dreams are what he live for which is true in modern American life. When Gatsby and Daisy left New York, Daisy was very nervous and she thought it would steady her to drive. She drives and causes accident by killing a woman. Nick told him to run away but Gatsby insists on telling people that he is the one who drives and kill her. After that, Gatsby waits for Daisy to turn off the light so that nothing bad happened between Tom and Daisy. Gatsby said “ but of course I’ll say I was…. She will be alright tomorrow. He can give his life for his lover so that she doesn’t get hurt. He doesn’t realize that he is the one who is going to get hurt while trying to reach his dream. He would rather turn himself in for Daisy. He is willing to give his life by protecting his lover which shows that he try everything to protect his dream. He works so hard to reach his dream and that change everything about his life. His dream was to live in the past with Daisy but all of his work were an end to cover up for Daisy.
