The emotional aspects of this paper a clearly defined in the beginning of this article by evidencing the reason for the economic research. Brodwin states that the research for this paper was conducted by economists, because of the “Politically explosive resentments,” of the stagnated American worker. Reason is given for emotion, therefore; sympathy, and understanding come into play.
Any statement or claim, regardless of the field involved, requires evidence. In this writing, the author uses college papers to establish facts and figures that evidence his claim that the American dream is dead to most.
