Him being an expert in the writing of the laws he impacted the lives of of the people living during the 17th Century. Hugo was a well-respected man who's journey to greatness started at such a young age. “When he was eight, he began writing skilful elegies in Latin; by eleven, he was a student in the Faculty of Letters at the University of Leiden.
