The Amazing History Of Glenville

Walking down the streets of Glenville, I saw and learned about the amazing history of this city. The history of Glenville has given it the name the city of inspiration. As I walked through the streets of this city, I noticed how people struggle to live here. I could see that many of these people are unfortunate and living in poverty, especially in the past, where this city suffered the Great Depression. But, given these harsh conditions two young men managed to prevail the darkness of this time. Their names will forever be remembered because they were the creators of Superman. Their families couldn’t afford jobs at the time because they were Jewish and because of the Great Depression. With this circumstance, Jerry and his best friend Joe decided to write small comics for a couple of dollars. This was where they created Superman. As they walked around Cleveland, they found many sources of inspiration for Superman like the Plain Dealer for the Daily Planet or like how Lois Lane was inspired from Jerry’s wife and Joe’s high school crush. Using their resource these two young boys was able to create the most iconic superhero of all time during America’s darkest era, Superman.
