The Advantages Of A Man And Women

I never really noticed the differences between the advantages of a man and a woman until my teenage years. It was during these years that i saw the many advantages a male had. My group of friends and i would plan on studying at a friends house and when it started to become dark, the girls were constantly checking their phones because we all had curfews and were expected to be home at a certain time. In the other hand, the guys seemed to not worry about time since their parents were less worried about them and let them stay out late at night. I understand that it is dangerous for young teenagers to be out late but why is it that even though a boy and a girl are both young they are treated way differently.

Instead we should allow them to be equal. We set more expectations and rules on women than we do on men. This causes men to see women as their inferior and see themselves as superior.
I remember my mom giving me a talk about not having a boyfriend because it would make me look bad and she didn’t want me to look like a “slut” to other boys later on in the future causing me not to be able to find a husband because i had, had other boyfriends before him. Days later my mom was talking about if she had, had a boy she would be so excited if he was my age because he would start to bring girlfriend 's home and she really wanted to experience what it was like to meet a son’s girlfriend. This made no sense to me because just a day before she was telling me not to have a boyfriend.
Why do we allow men to have freedom but suppress women’s freedom. It should actually be the opposite way. Scientifically, a woman 's brain matures 10 years earlier than a male 's brain matures. Women have the tendency to make better choices than men do yet we suppress women. We all make mistakes but when a women makes a mistake she is harshly judged and seen differently in society. We should teach men to cook and clean the house as the basics of living instead of just expecting women to cook and clean. I agree with Adichie in her idea of what a feminist should be because i don’t like the idea of a woman being submissive to a man. We should make it our culture for the equality of the sexes. We should teach women to fix cars and do difficult jobs instead of just leaving it to the men. If we do this, years from now we could have families that respect each other and help each other no matter what the task is. Men will not see women as their inferior instead they will see them as their equal. If men and women see each other as equals they would have respect for each other and not see each other as objects. This would lead women to have more freedom to express themselves in any ways they please. Their choices wouldn’t be as judged or suppressed. Women would be allowed to play harsh sports without being seen as a tomboy, have higher positions in jobs, and women would also feel safer knowing they are not being objectified. We should fix the problem of gender so that future generations see each other as equals not as one better than the
