The Advancement Via Individual Organization also known as AVID gives us many chances to do community service, however, the one academic program that caught my attention was Think Together Program at Tracy Elementary. Think Together is a program designed to help young students from K-12, to become productive adults and responsible, contributing members of society by tutoring, mentoring, inspiring, and nurturing kids. There were several steps that I had to complete before I began volunteering in the program, such as going to a training orientation and review.
