In The State Journal May 2nd-8th, 2014 it stated “in a study, animals purpously took cross electric shocks to get opiate drugs, and not for anything else.” the animals got addicted to the opiates just as humans do. Heroin is very unhealthy and can cause overdose, collapsed veins, heart infection, and many other problems. Prescription drugs that lead to heroin addiction cause acute and chronic health issues for the user. Because of this problem many people are overdosing on herion and perscription
