Batman is a billionaire orphan who uses his resources to eliminate the evil within his world, such as his nemesis the Joker. The origin of Batman’s story can be traced back to May 1939, when the character was written and drawn by a company called detective comics. In the early 1900s, reading was done by almost everyone because it was essential in education. The company, detective comics catered to the public with outlandish stories of batman, entertaining the public in new and unique ways. Ever since the early 1900s up until today, Batman’s story is still being told. As for the costumes, in previous films, Batman would have to turn his whole body in order to look a certain direction. As his first choice, Nolan casted Christian Bale as Batman. Bale was known to be an extremist and known as a method actor. He would devote all his time to actual become the character. Bale gained 70 pounds, in pure muscle, in eight weeks to prepare for his role. What many actors fail at, is when they try to be mix Batman’s personality with his alter ego personality, Bruce Wayne as one individual. Bale overcame this obstacle by separating the time he had, into preparing for both roles, as if they had two main protagonists to play.
