For the past two years I have been a student at North High School. I’ve enjoyed my time there and I will keep attending North High School until I graduate. Although I believe the academics are great at North High School, I feel the need for myself to expand academically and do something in addition to just studying at North High School. I feel that joining a program outside of school will help me meet my goal of becoming a Pediatrician quicker than only attending high school. There are 100s of programs in Arizona that could help me with my goals. However, I believe the Ace Program is the best fit for me and my future. Sadly, I happen to be one of those people who cannot afford college without scholarships. Being able to afford college has always been one of my biggest worries as I can barely afford one year of tuition, let alone eleven years! In order to pay for my education I will have to apply for many scholarships. From what I have achieved so far, I am on a great track to receiving scholarships. I have earned many academic certificates from not only from high school, but also middle school, I have lots of community hours, and I promoted middle school with honors. I am very proud of my achievements thus far, but being accepted into the ACE Program will be very special for me. The ACE Program will decrease the amount of tuition that I will have to pay by at least $10,000. This will allow me to invest that money and time that I saved into a national ranked medical school. The courses I take during the time I’m in ACE Program will not only prepare me for college, but it will also get me ready for my junior and senior years at North High School. Since I will be taking rigorous college classes during my summer after sophomore year, I will be at an advantage than everyone else in my high school class when I return to school for my junior year. My high school english and math classes will be easier for me compared to if I hadn't taken the college classes. It is always better to be ready than to struggle while doing

“Why I Chose Southwest” As a homeschooled high school senior, I am unable to take Advanced Placement courses, which are college-level classes taken at a high school. The National Honors Society defines what it means to serve the student body as well as the community. As a student athlete in the Sutton school system leadership, service, character and scholarship have impacted my very way of life. Having a persistent attitude is what makes a student shine and as a prospective candidate for NHS I will incorporate this quality into each of the four pillars improving the society as a whole. Three years ago I began the NHS application process though I had little experience in volunteering for the community and lacked the opportunity to develop myself as a leader this changed as my high school career went on. Through athletics and long hours of volunteering with the town's technology department has provided me with numerous opportunities as high school went on.…
