Writing: Lindsey struggles with writing essays due to the lack of fine motor abilities and speed. Lindsey articulates well, and she has better explained the material verbally rather than typing or writing. The ATS discussed the possibility of using speech recognition software instead of writing. The ATS had Lindsey try the Windows Speech Recognition Program on the ATS Laptop. Lindsey enjoyed watching the computer write for her as she spoke. Next, Lindsey tried the Dragon NaturallySpeaking program on the ATS PC. Both programs could provide her with the ability to place her thoughts down on paper. Lindsey owns an Apple MacBook Air laptop but did not have the laptop available during the evaluation. The ATS knows there is an Apple Speech
