The ASPCA is a non-profit organization which stands for American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals that works to prevent animal neglect. The purpose of the ASPCA commercial is to encourage people to stop animal cruelty. Every day many animals are found abandoned and abused. The advertisement tells viewers that animals are living creatures that need food, shelter, and care. The advertisement shows the scenes of the animals that are malnourished, injured, and locked up in the cage. The ASPCA advertisement mostly comes on prime time cable channels like Animal Planet, CBC, ABC, and it also appears on YouTube.
