The 90s was also a groundbreaking decade for many different male hairstyles and hair care products. Men were known to be busy in this particular decade as well, so they often opted for different low-maintenance styles like the women. As stated by Fabulous Fashion of the 1990s “Men wore their hair short and well groomed, some people shaved their hair, often inspired by celebrities like Michael Jordan. Some men wore sideburns which was a throwback to the 60s and 70s”(Niven 11). While sideburns were originally originated in the decades prior to the 90s, as stated before, the 90s was the decade when the youth took items and trends from previous generations and made it their own in such a way that they would feel more comfortable about themselves.

The 90s was not something that could have easily been defined throughout the ten year span, because things were always changing. The developments of the 90s were not stagnant.
