My presentation was one of the many presentations that portrayed a scene from the book The 5 People you Meet in Heaven. The scene I decided to portray is Eddie’s 17th birthday. There were both positives and negatives within my presentation. After seeing all the presentations, I realized some things could have been improved. I enjoyed the narrators that some of the skits had, and by having a narrator, my group’s skit could have been enhanced. A Narrator could help the audience understand what is happening in the story better so the audience doesn’t have to wonder what is happening sometimes. Andrew’s delivery of the presentation was one of the best I have seen from someone giving a presentation. He was clear and avoided using business jargon that would confuse his audience. Andrew came off as confident and very knowledgeable about each topic. He also encouraged us to ask questions at any point during the presentation. He was bombarded with many questions, but Andrew never stumbled and gave clear…

Beth seems to always give great presentations. Her persuasive speech on Pope Francis was one of those. It was obvious that Beth spent a lot of time preparing the speech and creating her outline. I am not sure of her exact organization pattern for the speech, but she used the class topic and focused on Pope Francis’ environmental plan. Her organization of her presentation aid and speech were easy to follow, and helped increase the persuasion on how Pope Francis’ plan could be helpful to the world.…

“The Five People You Meet In Heaven” doesn’t start out like any usual story. Mitch Albom started this story out with the death day of the main character, Eddie. Eddie meets five people in Heaven, The Blue Man, The Captain, Ruby, Marguerite, and Tala. These five people show Eddie his meaning of being on Earth without Eddie realizing it. “The Five People You Meet In Heaven” is written by Mitch Albom who shows that the setting, characters, and theme to show how a death has a bigger impact on more people than one may think.…

In the insane asylum, she is tormented by figments of her imagination and is told that she is not to leave the insane asylum for as long as she may live. In this particular adaptation, the cast consisted of 6 actors, 1 playing the role of Mary Girard and the other 5 doubling up on characters.…

When we first started doing the Mime Unit, I thought it would be super boring, but also super easy. However, I was proved wrong. This unit was surprisingly hard, as it was really hard to not talk. Trying to expresses everything your character is thinking with just facial expressions was difficult for me as I literally don't know how show emotion. You have to be very in touch with your emotions and facial expressions to do a successful mime.…

In the editing notes for Tobermory by Lewis Hayes, you have successfully set up your characters and location from the first few scenes. However, I have a couple of concerns with the writing (repetition, grammar, readability), format (scene breakdown style), structure (montage, scene selection, conflict), and scenes (repetition, formatting). There is a suitable structure and the narrative flows in appropriate sequential order. The tone of your film upon initial read is engaging. Appropriate filmic drive but the writing brought down the readability.…

In my opinion, the presentation went well. We were able to present to the class both views of Antigone in a way that got them involved and thinking. The information the class needed to receive about the different views of Antigone was represented in a different way that helped the class get the information, but have them engaged and participating in it also. We were able to argue our points in the time given and have enough time to hold a class discussion with the jury about Antigone and her perspective on her brother’s burial. In the presentation, I was able to talk about the different points on Antigone’s behalf and make the connection between all three and why that represented her innocence.…
