It was a case that the defendant argued to be protected by the 2nd amendment. It shows that the amendment can be interpreted in many ways, but doesn’t cover all weapons considered to be “arms”.

In Jaime Caetano’s case the stun gun was ruled to not be covered under the 2nd amendment, because the stun gun was not a weapon in common use in the time of the 2nd amendment enactment. #2

-Lautenberg Amendment- it is “unlawful for any person who has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence” to transport, ship, receive, or possess any firearms which have been affected by or affects interstate commerce.
- Castleman worries if violence is not necessary for a crime of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment, a person will not have notice that they might lose their right to own a firearm if they plead guilty to a misdemeanor.
