The 2017 Volvo XC 60 is available in five trim levels: T5 Dynamic, T5 Inscription, T6 Dynamic, T6 Inscription, and T6 R-Design.
Now in its eighth year, the 2017 Volvo XC60 sees part of its powertrain lineup eliminated. Gone are the five- and six-cylinder engines that once powered this model. Now, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available in two variants — turbocharged as well as turbocharged and supercharged. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across the model line.
The base model, previously available in front-wheel drive only, now offers available all-wheel drive.
The 2017 Volvo XC60 sports a familiar design, one that evokes a time-honored appearance. Its silhouette suggests a tall wagon, but that’s not a bad thing. Whereas competing models usually offer a clamshell liftgate, the Volvo’s rear design is tempered by the unique combination lamps that flank it.
