I ordered an Uber to pick me up and take me to the airport at 6:30. I checked my phone to see how far away the Uber was and it said around 10 minutes. This gave me extra time to look around and check for any last minute things that I may have left around my house before leaving. By the time I looked at my phone again I got a notification saying that my car was outside waiting for me. I frantically looked around to make sure i had everything and bolted out of the door. Even though the driver was only 4 minutes late, I wanted to be sure that we made it to the airport on time. On the way to the airport everything seemed to be going wrong. I looked out the window and saw the traffic backed up and I immediately thought that it would be the worst thing that could happen to me. An endless amount of ear aching honks were heard for miles. By the time traffic sped up we were cruising along the highway. Suddenly the car started shaking and I took out my headphones to see if I could hear a noise. With my eyes wide like a deer in headlights after hearing a screeching noise I could resist asking my driver, Randy, what was wrong. “Oh just a little flat tire, it 's nothing that can’t be fixed.” He pulled over to the side of the road

"Lord of the Flies" is the INTRICATE tale of a group constituted of some young british boys that happen to fall victim to a plane crash and end up isolated from society on a small island but after a while the boys learn to survive off of fruit and hunting a boar or two every now and then but arguments break out over who should be the leader. On September 9th, 2016 I was a passenger in rear-end car accident. At the young age of seventeen, I was ignorant, rebellious and negligent. At this time, I honestly believed that I knew it all and was always in the right; I would ignore anyone trying to guide me towards the right path or give me advice. As in the short story “Rain of Fire” by Evan Thomas, I would have never expected that a regular day could end up in such catastrophe. I learned not to trust those whom I have not gotten to know well enough.…

Unlike any other morning after arriving to school, I decided to find my two friends and leave to go to Chick-fil-a. We had fifteen minutes to get there and back without being late for school. While trying to cross a 4-lane road, I was t-boned by an older lady who was texting while driving. I didn’t see her…

Why don’t we look at some book examples and some life experiences. When you are getting told about a death, it can change the way you talk to people. I was panicking by now, but we finally got there and saw my brother talking to the flight attendant. The flight attendant had a black eye on his right eye, and he just told us that there was no way that we could get on the plane, even though it hadn’t left yet. We needed to come up with some kind of plan to distract him. He already had a black eye, so I pulled a hat out of my luggage and pulled it over his eyes. I tied a belt around the hat, so he couldn’t get it off easily.…
