Television as almost everything in life has had an evolution. The way we think of television is very different than the way our ancestors did. Television has been around since the late 1920’s. However, back in the day it was a very expensive luxury that only the elite could afford. With the passage of years television became more accessible and as a consequence more popular. In the 1950’s television was considered to be the primary medium in which many families gathered their information. Following along, some great television shows were born; these shows aimed to entertain families who liked to gather around the TV set. Additionally, the diverse shows were organized in different categories such as Episodic, Quality Dramas, and Soap Opera.

This show is concrete and concise. It is meant for an educated audience who can follow complex storylines and dialogues. There is a lot of action in each episode; therefore there is no margin for distraction. If one is not paying full attention to the television screen or any other device where the show is being played, one is most likely to get lost along the plot. This show has the three elements that make up a quality drama show. It has an essential ending, managing of seriality, and a rejection of the feminine. The last aspect is very important because even though some people may argue that this show is very feminine because most of the lead characters are women, one has to take into consideration that all of them have more masculine attitudes than feminine ones. There are many issues in this episode and all along the three seasons. Therefore, the audience has to be active to understand what is going on. There are a lot of science terms and complex vocabulary that only educated people would be able to appreciate and understand. Also, the director of the show loves to switch the topic and conversations really fast. This implies that the show is made for a certain audience who will be able to sit down 45 minutes and do nothing else but watch the
