From my time in band, I have learned that when surrounded by friends, nothing will ever seem like hard work. It is precisely that reason that makes That Wylie Band so good at what we do. When looking back at how I met my close group of friends, I have come to the realization that all of us have one thing in common: band. All of us met at various points throughout our time in the band program, and it is the amount of time we have spent together, focused on a common goal, that has made us such good friends. To us, friendship means having someone who knows the struggles of waking up at 5 am everyday, and going to bed at 1 am that night after a football game.
