A tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way. My most favorite tradition is making tamales during Christmas eve. My relatives are always busy and we never have fun because they are either far away or just to busy. Making tamales is a way for my family and relatives to get together and have fun. Every single one of us gets a task that is not to hard and not to easy.…

Me and three of my friends surveyed each other and we talk to each other about are Thanksgiving traditions and what we do with our families and friends. We compared it with the traditions the early americans did and what we found was totally different from what happens now. One thing that was different they do not watch football, ride golf carts, go karts or anything like that. One thing that was similar was we spent time with our families and friends and something they did that we did not do was eat dinner with the Indians. Something else that was also similar was we have turkey, ham, stuffing, and pie and other foods too they also had cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie they also had vegetables like beans, lettuce, spinach,…

One ritual my family experiences is having an early Thanksgiving dinner and watching the Dallas Cowboys game. The tradition starts late on the night before thanksgiving. We start by ordering pizza, and then we begin prepping dinner for Thanksgiving Day. My sister and I prepare the side dishes, while my mother, aunt and grandmother make all the main dishes and desserts. We usually stay up all night finishing dinner prep, watching television, and cracking jokes.…

Thanksgiving dinner in my family is a big deal all our family and friends gather around to celebrate. There is always plenty of food, drinks, music and laughter. My family is loud, crazy and not afraid to voice their opinions so there is always drama at every dinner or family event. I chose to write on this because I never payed attention to detail or interactions at these dinners like why the women cook? Or why it is important that we are all together.…

I have spoken with Chance about your plans for Thanksgiving. He informed me that you are going to Kansas City for a day or two this coming weekend and then will be home next week for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I have also reviewed our most recent parenting plan and agreement as they pertain to holidays and normal visitation schedule. I find no reference therein that allows you to arbitrarily force me to forfeit my time with Chance without my prior approval and prior or subsequent remuneration. I do not agree with you taking my weekend prior to the holiday just because “Thanksgiving break is one full week”.…
