My Thanksgiving weekend was great. My family and I went on a trip. My brother and I did not know anything about where we were going, only my parents knew. We were excited to go on a trip to anywhere, because it was going to be fun. On our way we stopped at the gas station to have a snack and get gas. We all had chicken burgers at Kwik Star. Further down the road, we stop to buy grocery at Fareway in Spencer, Iowa. I was curious as to why we were buying groceries, but did not asked. Finally we arrived at Sunrise Cove Resort in Spirit Lake. It was so dark, so it took us a long time to find our cottage. My Dad went back to the Receptionist to get more information so he can find the cottage. That took an hour, but eventually we found it.
