There were many positive things that I got out of this experience such as getting missing work done, interacting with my family, giving my eyes relief, and allowing myself to think about other things rather than what was on my phone. I didn’t experience a whole lot of bad from this experience except for the fact I had to hook up the old dusty home phone to contact my parents Sunday night when they were at church small group.
Based on the results of removing myself from social technology, I found that it’s quite healthy for your mind and inner relationships to have a good amount of down time from social technology. Although I noticed after that I never went a whole day without touching my phone or a computer. I think it might have been better or interesting to see how I fared going a whole day without touching my phone or a computer. In conclusion, our world shouldn’t revolve around the latest tweets or the newest video games. We should pay more attention to the things that aren’t on a bright screen and engage with
